MOTIVATION

"Heaven and Hell are states of the mind. Hell is when you know that the end of your life is approaching and that you have not used your talents and resources as well as you could have done to make a difference - ie. when you realise upon reflection that you have wasted your life.

Heaven is contemplation of the approach of death without fear because you know that on balance, you have done your best to make a difference." - Allan Hart, Independent thinker

Unrest of spirit is a mark of life; one problem after another presents itself and in the solving of them we can find our greatest pleasure. - Kal Menninger

Our life's a stage, a comedy: either learn to play and take it lightly, or bear its troubles patiently. - Palladas

The first step in the acquisition of wisdom is silence, the second listening, the third memory, the fourth practice, the fifth teaching others.
- Solomon ibn Gabriol
